Does my parent need a smartphone?
No. Collie works over ordinary texts, so the phone she already has is enough. Nothing to download, install, or learn.
What if my parent isn't comfortable texting?
Texting is all it takes, in plain words, and we sort it out when the phone won't cooperate. A simple flip phone is plenty.
What does my parent actually experience?
Her own warm text thread with Collie, where everyday things get handled directly. Approvals, costs, and risk go to you in a separate thread.
How does Collie learn her routines and preferences?
The basics come from you at registration: addresses, stores, pharmacy, doctors. The rest Collie picks up with use. The first week or two takes a little more telling; after that, "her usual" really means her usual.
Who approves spending?
You do, every time. No order is placed and no money moves without your text approval, and every action leaves a receipt.
What happens when Mom gets a scam text or call?
She can always ask us "is this real?" and get a straight answer from a person who knows her. Always-on screening that checks things automatically is coming with the family plan.
Can my siblings be part of it?
Yes. Add siblings, a cousin, a trusted aide, and they see the same live updates you do. Decisions stay with one person you choose. Handing the wheel to someone else takes one text.
Can Mom be in a thread with me and Collie together?
